6th Grade Visual Art

Students look at famous artists, art work and art styles from the Prehistoric, Egyptian, Greek, and Medieval time periods as well as the art of the Gothic Cathedrals. Projects are related to these works using materials such as clay, construction paper, metal and plaster.

7th Grade Visual Art

Students look at famous artists, art work and art styles from the High Renaissance such as Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, Impressionism and Post Impressionism including Vincent Van Gogh. Related projects include perspective drawings, clay, plaster and oil pastel.

8th Grade Visual Art

Students look at famous artists, art work and art styles from the modern time period, or contemporary art as well as focus on various art careers! Materials used are clay, foam core, oil pastels, colored pencils, paint and plaster.
