Admin Team/Secretaries/Para Staff:

 
  1. Student schedules created for the 2019-2020 School year

  2. Program Evaluations Completed

  3. Staff Observations and Evaluations Completed

  4. Host 5th Grade Welcome Night

  5. Plan 2019-2020 Open House and Registration

  6. Finalize plans for new STEM classroom

Math:

  1. Achieve groupings will be created after the NWEA Assessment is given to students

  2. 75% of 7th and 8th grade students will show improvement on their overall RIT score on the NWEA test from the fall testing window to the spring testing window.

 

Social Studies:

  1. Achieve groupings will be created after the NWEA Assessment is given to students, teachers will attack like skills with their students in the area of Reading and Mathematics.

  2. All grade levels will use the SQ3R strategy by year’s end in anticipation of next year’s MIBLISI  rollout.

  3. Use the new activities created for the MI Openbook Textbook in the 4th quarter.

ELA:

  1. Achieve groupings will be created after the NWEA Assessment is given to students, teachers will attack like skills with their students in the area of Reading and Mathematics

  2. 6th grade:  All students will complete one of the HMH Grade 6 ELA/Literacy Practice Assessments from Collections online (Unit 1, 2 or 3).   

 

Science:

  1. Achieve groupings will be created after the NWEA Assessment is given to students, teachers will attack like skills with their students in the area of Reading and Mathematics.        

 

Special Education:

  1. A minimum of 5 positive contacts

  2. M-Step/Mi-Access testing groups

  3. Programming for 2019 - 2020

  4. Student schedules for 2019 - 2020

 

Vocal Music:

  1. Achieve groupings will be created after the NWEA Assessment is given to students, teachers will attack like skills with their students in the area of Reading and Mathematics.  

Physical Education:   

  1. Achieve groupings will be created after the NWEA Assessment is given to students, teachers will attack like skills with their students in the area of Reading and Mathematics.  

Health:

  1. No health class offered this quarter

 

Instrumental Music:

  1. Achieve groupings will be created after the NWEA Assessment is given to students, teachers will attack like skills with their students in the area of Reading and Mathematics.

  2. 80% of 6th Grade Band students will earn 80% or higher on their Smart Music Assessments.

  3. 80% of 7th Grade Band students will earn 80% or higher on their Smart Music Assessments.

  4. 80% of 8th Grade Band students will earn 80% or higher on the Smart Music Assessments.

 

Visual Art:

  1. Achieve groupings will be created after the NWEA Assessment is given to students, teachers will attack like skills with their students in the area of Reading and Mathematics.

Spanish:

  1. Achieve groupings will be created after the NWEA Assessment is given to students, teachers will attack like skills with their students in the area of Reading and Mathematics.

  2. 80% of students will receive 80% or higher on the Spanish 1 Second Semester Exam

 

Woods:

  1. Achieve groupings will be created after the NWEA Assessment is given to students, teachers will attack like skills with their students in the area of Reading and Mathematics.  

  2. 80% of students will score 80% or better on Woods exam for 8th grade

 

Computer Science:

  1. Update curriculum map for Computer Science Discoveries 7 and Computer Science Discoveries 8.

  2. Achieve groupings will be created after the NWEA Assessment is given to students, teachers will attack like skills with their students in the area of Reading and Mathematics.

  3. Alls students will score 80% or better on their Design a Game summative project.

 

Living Skills & Leadership

  1. Achieve groupings will be created after the NWEA Assessment is given to students, teachers will attack like skills with their students in the area of Reading and Mathematics.  

  2. Explore curriculum maps for Living Skills, TL8, and Global Gourmet. Begin creating curriculum maps for HERO prep.

  3. A minimum of 5 positive contacts  

  4. 80% of students will score an 80% or higher on all assessments.
