Chromebook Care

• Place the device in the center of your desk.
• To ensure safe handling, open the lid and transport the device using two hands.
• Avoid closing the device's lid if any items (e.g., headphones, pencils) are inside.
• Comply with all directives issued by the teacher.
• Notify your teacher promptly of any identified security problems or potential online safety issues, and refrain from participating in peer discussions.

• Shut down the device entirely before travel.
• Keep the device with you at all times; do not leave it unattended. Use school lockers (including PE lockers) for secure storage.
• Refrain from leaning on the device or its carrying bag.
• Store Chromebooks upright on their side. Do not stack items on top of them.

• Students are expected to take their device home daily.
• Charge the device completely each night to ensure it's ready for school.
• For optimal supervision, use the device in common areas of your home, such as a family room, kitchen, or dining room.
• Always store the device on a stable surface like a desk or table – never on the floor.
• Avoid leaving the device in any vehicle.
• Protect the device from exposure to dust, debris, or liquids.
